What we are looking for:
Fund Administration is responsible for the overall operations and administration of Fiera's various fund structures. This includes a complex line-up of over 100 funds domiciled in Canada, the U.S, UK and Cayman Islands.

The teams work closely with Fiera's product development and distribution teams to define and manage the product offerings ensuring that service delivery, operational risk, operational readiness, regulatory compliance, profitability, and scale is achieved in each product.


Your responsibilities:

Unitholder recordkeeping:

  • Manage and maintain the Fiera fund trading process end to end by coordinating new account set ups, fund trade transaction flow and manage thirdparty investor recordkeeper relationship to ensure success
  • Manage multiple trading flow data coming from FundServ, Internal Portfolio Management systems and direct trades into the Fiera funds and ensure all trading is properly recorded on time
  • Manage cash flows from multiple custodians to / from our fund business and ensure all cash settles on time
  • Interact with custodians ensuring all unitholder transactions are reconciled and processed according to established standards

Financial reporting:

  • Participate in the production of the financial statements of the Fiera funds by creating draft versions of financial statements using available content, templates and guidelines
  • Proofread documents to ensure consistency, completeness and accuracy of information and make corrections when needed
  • Manage deadlines and monitor ongoing progress of the financial statements' preparation, and address any production issues

Other:

  • Participate in various projects / assignments to optimize processes
  • Develop enhanced procedures for a growing global business
  • Understand where department fits into the organization and general understanding of other functional teams
Must have requirements to be successful in this role:

  • 1-3 years of investment operations / fund administration experience in an asset manager / administrator setting
  • Strong analytical skills for problem resolution
  • Organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities
  • Results oriented with a strong capacity to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and client servicing skills
  • Ability to work independently and interact effectively in a group environment
  • Diligence, diplomacy and discretion to handle information which is confidential by nature
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written, is required.

  • Fiera Capital adheres to a hybrid working environment with 3 days inoffice per week

For all positions in Quebec (Montreal and Laval), proficiency in French, both spoken and written, is mandatory. Working English proficiency is also required in order to serve our offices and clients around the world.
