POSITION SCOPE


Reporting to the Elevator Manager, the Elevator Administrator is responsible for providing customer service and relations to growers and producers and to provide administrative office support to the Elevator Manager and other personnel.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop customer relationships
  • Purchase order receiving in Microsoft D36
  • Ticket entry/settling procedures
  • Data entry
  • Manage daily/weekly grain databases/charts for distribution to managers
  • Gather all freight invoices for distribution and payment to head office
  • Other admin duties as assigned

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Basic math skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Organizational skills
  • Quick typing skills
  • Agricultural experience is an asset

EDUCATION
Minimum Grade 12
