    Description
    Project Assistant
    Pinchin is seeking a Project Assistant to join our team to assist in project management and coordination. The Project Assistant can reside anywhere in British Columbia.
    As a Project Assistant you will report directly to a Project Manager.

    You will play a pivotal role on our team by provide project management support to a team of environmental professionals in order to ensure the smooth and effective execution of client projects.

    A Day in the life of a Project Assistant at Pinchin:
    Assist Project Managers in coordinating projects and managing schedules, utilizing both manual methods and software tools.
    Work closely with client contacts, providing scheduling updates and team information relevant to project execution.
    Utilize software programs like Microsoft Project Planner, Monday Scheduler, and Vision to efficiently organize the team.
    Track team training requirements, digital access, and site provisions for sensitive data and sites.
    Monitor contract compliance and facilitate renewals.
    Prepare client invoices in compliance with contract terms.
    Maintain effective communication with the project team and clients to ensure smooth project execution and administrative compliance.
    Minimum two years of experience in administrative functions, particularly in team scheduling and coordination.
    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Planner, etc.).
    Secretarial or Administrative Assistant Course, along with 1-year Business Administration or Business Computer Course, is an asset.
    Experience and working knowledge in environmental consulting, including hazardous materials, is an asset.
