- Provide personal assistance and support services for residents
- Offer daily living support including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other ADL's
- Communicate resident care needs, observations, and concerns to professional staff
- Assist in orienting and mentoring new HCA staff and students
- Engage with residents/families and team members to address care needs
- Collaborate within the interdisciplinary team
- Health Care Aide Certification or equivalent (LPN students who have completed first year, BScN students who have completed second year)
- Prior experience in long-term care setting preferred
- Strong organization, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Effective communication skills in English
