We're looking for a Global Corporate Events Manager to join our Global Corporate Events team in Montreal.

Reporting to the Head of Global Corporate Events, you will help manage the planning and execution of hybrid:

online and in person Global Corporate events, such as, but not limited to; the Annual Lightspeed corporate conferences; the Global & Regional Partner & Customers Summits, the Global Sales Summit, the Global Product & Technology Summit, the HQ Year End Event and the Investors Relations events (Capital Markets Day).


What you'll be doing:


  • Manage virtual and physical corporate events.
  • Manage multiple timelines
  • Manage communication plan, event survey, registration and attendees lists
  • Manage internal & external guest speakers: meetings scheduling and preshow rehearsals.
  • Coordinate budgets with the Head of Global Corporate Events.
  • Administrative work with accounts payable and procurement: analyze contracts, work with procurement and legal, create purchase order, followup on invoices, contracts signature and payment.
  • Coordinate marketing deliverables with (content, design, social media, project manager, marketing automation, acquisition, etc.).
  • Coordinate and negotiate multiple vendors such as transportation, hotel management, virtual platforms etc.
  • Coordinate production details and logistics with the event agency.
  • Coordinate communication with event attendees.
  • Coordonate sponsorships in collaboration with the Partner Marketing Manager.
  • Measure success and KPIs for each event competitive analysis and improvement of current events.

What you need to bring:

We're a team of 3 people located in Montreal.

Our team is responsible for creating experiences with impact, while carrying the brand and messaging through all levels of execution.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Event, Marketing or related field.
  • 710 years of experience in marketing and event planning.
  • Strong analytical skills (ability to understand, measure and report on KPIs).
  • Excellent English & French writing and communication skills.
  • Can work independently, as well as in a team setting.
  • Solves unforeseen situations as they arise in a calm and composed manner.
  • Capacity to juggle multiple projects and prioritize dynamically.
  • Work in a fastpaced environment and execute multiple events with competing priorities.
  • Resultsoriented with a strong work ethic, and acute attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with Gsuite
  • Comfortable traveling (you will be required to travel).
