Position - Sewing Machine Oprator

Duties

  • Setting up production machinery for everyday use
  • Maintaining machinery and equipment to ensure safe operation
  • Supervising and instructing other workers on specialized equipment
  • Maintaining knowledge of their machines' operating instructions recommending adjustments to the procedure or equipment as necessary
  • Bringing up safety concerns in the workplace
  • Able to work in Fast paced work environment
  • Put together clothing by coordinating patterns and dye lots.
  • Work on a piecebypiece or production basis using single, double, or multineedle serging, flat bed felling, banding, and other sewing machines to combine pieces of clothing or other goods into finished products.

Requirements:


  • Most often, some secondary schooling is needed.
  • Typically, you need to have sewing machine operating experience.
  • You might get training as you work.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From $17.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

- sewing: 1 year (preferred)
