    IT Project Team Lead
    Permanent Position

    As a member of the IT department, the Team Lead will play a pivotal role in achieving company strategic goals by effectively managing and leading a team of professionals, solving technical challenges, and delivering value-added solutions across the organization.

    Reporting to the IT Delivery Manager of Projects (PMO), this position is responsible for the following key responsibilities:

    • Work closely with the business stakeholders to collect requirements specifications and ensure accurate execution by the team members responsible for implementing the project deliverables.
    • Work with PMO team to analyze cross-departmental business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvements.
    • Is responsible for adhering to Government procurement guidelines by developing and executing procurement plans, obtaining and reviewing quotes, evaluating procurement responses, and collaboratively managing vendors with NLC resources.
    • Apply appropriate methodology (Waterfall or agile) to ensure speedy and accurate execution of the assigned project activities.
    • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
    • Manages the day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope including project logs, issues, action items, risks queries, change management and escalation processes, and implement mitigation strategies.
    • Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions effectively to stakeholders through various communication channels.
    • Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams to facilitate project deliver and application upgrades.
    • Assists management in annual budget process.
    • Work with IT groups to ensure proper project transitioning to support, including training, and support documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with IT Policies, procedures, and application / infrastructure / security standards.

    The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum ten (10) years Information technology field with proven experience (5 years) in leading IT projects.
    • Strong understanding of retail operations, including supply chain management, distribution, sales, marketing, finance, and human resources processes.
    • Certifications in leadership, project management or other relevant areas.
    • Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
    • Experience with business process modeling, analysis, and optimization techniques.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, conflict management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to drive a positive team culture while cultivating an atmosphere of collaboration and communication.
    • Experience in large-scale, cross-functional projects, processes and systems related to supply chain management, retail, wholesale, POS, logistics and warehouse management would be an asset.

    Salary: CG 42: $74,893.00-$88,233.60 annually
