About the Opportunity


RAM is a leading Canadian manufacturer of superior elevating devices for both residential and low-rise commercial use across Canada and the United States.

Founded in 1987, our vision has been to engineer and manufacture impactful accessibility solutions without aesthetic compromise.


We are looking for skilled and motivated individuals for our day shift which runs from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.


About the role
The Assembler is part of a team, responsible for building RAM's products from start to finish.

This individual must work well with a team and independently with mínimal supervision as required to ensure a high level of efficiency.

The Assembler's attention to detail, mechanical skills and level of diligence will contribute to producing high quality lifts for RAM clients.


Responsibilities

  • Electrical and mechanical wiring
  • Assembling mechanical components.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, or precision instruments to test equipment.
  • Performing safe work practices
  • Perform testing and inspection of parts as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness in work area and adhere to health and safety standards
  • Taking direction from Team Lead as requested
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Electrical knowledge is strongly preferred
  • Previous experience working with vertical platform lifts strongly preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge preferred
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs multiple times daily and stand for long periods of time
  • Measuring tape, drills, impact guns, and other hand tools
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Highly motivated, hardworking individual who thrives in a fast paced, deadlinebased environment.
  • Punctuality and good attendance is a must
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is required

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$18.00 per hour
