What YOU Will Do
Under the supervision of the project team, the Mobility Coordinator will be assigned to one or more Civil and Infrastructure construction sites at Pomerleau, depending on the project's scope.
The Mobility Coordinator will be an integral part of a mobility team that will accompany and support them in their work on the construction site(s).
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Optimize phasing scenarios in coordination with the construction team.
- Anticipate the needs of the construction teams, propose solutions and/or optimizations for mobility management on the site, and ensure coordination of mobility activities on the site.
- Plan and coordinate road closures with the Contractor's work teams and subcontractors.
- Coordinate and request road closures with the client.
- Coordinate and ensure the compliance of operations of subcontractors related to mobility (temporary signage, road markings, concrete barriers, etc.).
- Ensure the compliance of deployed signage boards on the site after coordinating their mobilization (involving various stakeholders).
- Prepare and obtain road closure requests (SGE or others) and permits from municipalities if required.
- Reconcile quantities related to mobility with subcontractors and the client.
- Maintain a construction journal, including daily or bidaily inspections of signage.
- Manage flaggers and escorts to ensure the safety of workers on the site.
- Certify the compliance of road closure mobilization.
- Compensatory rest periods required will be scheduled before resuming work with different hours.
What YOU Will Bring
- Must possess a certificate of completion for the courses "Management of Roadwork Impacts" and "Supervision and Monitoring of Road Construction Work Signage";
- Must also hold the certificate for the "General Health and Safety on Construction Sites" course from ASP Construction;
- Must hold a Class 5 driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of experience;
- Complete professional proficiency in French (spoken and written).
