In this field position, you will be leading a crew performing municipal/cadastral surveying, including building layouts, as-built surveys, topographical surveys, subdivisions, etc.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with all facets of municipal surveying
- Working knowledge of Total Station and GPS technology
- Valid class 5 driver's license (abstract required at time of interview)
- Safety training (i.e. CSTS, First Aid, WHMIS, etc.) is required and will be provided as needed
- Willingness to work 40 hours per week (with the potential for overtime)
- Willingness to work in all types of weather conditions
- Compliance with our mandatory drug and alcohol policy, which includes screening
- Prior experience as a Crew Chief
- Completed postsecondary training in a Geomatics/Survey program (equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered)
- Microsurvey or CAD experience
