Crew Chief's Role:


In this field position, you will be leading a crew performing municipal/cadastral surveying, including building layouts, as-built surveys, topographical surveys, subdivisions, etc.

Guaranteed number of hours per month is provided for this position. Travel out of town may be required.


Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with all facets of municipal surveying
  • Working knowledge of Total Station and GPS technology
  • Valid class 5 driver's license (abstract required at time of interview)
  • Safety training (i.e. CSTS, First Aid, WHMIS, etc.) is required and will be provided as needed
  • Willingness to work 40 hours per week (with the potential for overtime)
  • Willingness to work in all types of weather conditions
  • Compliance with our mandatory drug and alcohol policy, which includes screening
  • Prior experience as a Crew Chief
  • Completed postsecondary training in a Geomatics/Survey program (equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered)
  • Microsurvey or CAD experience
