Crew Chief's Role:

In this field position, you will be leading a crew performing municipal/cadastral surveying, including building layouts, as-built surveys, topographical surveys, subdivisions, etc.

Guaranteed number of hours per month is provided for this position. Travel out of town may be required.

Qualifications:

Familiarity with all facets of municipal surveying
Working knowledge of Total Station and GPS technology
Valid class 5 driver's license (abstract required at time of interview)
Safety training (i.e. CSTS, First Aid, WHMIS, etc.) is required and will be provided as needed
Willingness to work 40 hours per week (with the potential for overtime)
Willingness to work in all types of weather conditions
Compliance with our mandatory drug and alcohol policy, which includes screening
Prior experience as a Crew Chief
Completed postsecondary training in a Geomatics/Survey program (equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered)
Microsurvey or CAD experience
