Description

Crew Chief's role:

In this field position, you will be leading a crew performing oilfield and pipeline construction surveys.

Crew Chief duties include:

Completion of survey calculations
Communication with clients, field representatives and site supervisors

Qualifications:

Familiar with all facets of oilfield surveying; including but not limited to well site surveys, pipeline surveys and line locating
Experienced operator of Total Station and GPS technology
Valid Class 5 driver's license (abstract required at the time of interview)
Safety training (i.e. H2S, First Aid, ATV, etc.) is required and will be provided as needed
Willingness and availability to work a varied schedule based on client demands. This may include working in remote locations, rotational schedules and extended work days (overtime eligible)
Compliance with our drug and alcohol policy, which includes screening, is mandatory
Travel out of town will be required
Physical ability to perform the requirements of the job
Willingness to work in all types of weather conditions
A minimum of 2 years prior experience in a Crew Chief role
Completed postsecondary training in a Geomatics/Survey program (equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered)
Multidisciplinary background including oilfield, municipal and construction surveys
