Work Status: 1-year Full-Time contract

Location:
Toronto, Ontario (Remote)

About the Role:

You will contribute by:

Hands on implementation of Infrastructure as Code
Perform load testing
Perform security audits
Maintain highlyavailable production environments serving multimillion pageviews/week
Manage code deployment processes
Manage our support ticketing system
Administration of our Video Management System
Assist in vendor investigation
Strategize and identify new technologies and tools to improve performance, stability, revenue
Auditing our current infrastructure and providing recommendations for improvements

Skills and Experience you will bring:

Cloud: AWS experience is required, GCP is a plus
Infrastructure as Code is required: AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform
Containerization skill is required: Docker, ECS
Scripting: Bash, Python (Django framework nice to have)
CI/CD: CodePipeline preferred
Search Index: AWS ElasticSearch preferred
Cache Memory: (any caching service) Redis preferred
Database: any cloud DB (AWS RDS postgres preferred)
Log Monitoring: (any monitoring tool) CloudWatch preferred
Content Management System: WordPress preferred
3+ years of experience in server administration, build and maintenance of highly available cloud architectures
Should have extensive experience with Amazon Web Services in a clustered and loadbalanced environment
Familiarity with continuous delivery and integration
College degree in IT, Computer Science or similar fields
Excellent communicator
