    Description

    Job Title: Area Manager - Janitorial Services

    Company Overview: We are a well-established Canadian company that specializes in facility maintenance services for large retail and commercial businesses across the country.

    Job Summary: As an Area Manager overseeing Janitorial Services, your main responsibilities include leading and managing daily operations at multiple store locations within your designated area. Your key focus areas will revolve around customer experience, partner and cleaner performance, store operations, quality standards, training, cost management, and revenue generation.

    • Increasing Revenue & Profits
    • United & Customer Processes
    • Support to other Area Managers

    Planning & Budgeting:

    • Develop annual plans and budgets by customer banners
    • Implement store level budgets
    • Create strategies for sustainability and profitability

    Customer Relationships & Communication:

    • Build strong relationships with customers and business partners
    • Act as the primary point of contact for customer communication
    • Address customer concerns promptly
    • Support Regional Management on key customer meetings

    Internal Communication:

    • Lead daily communication with partners and teams
    • Participate in cross-functional meetings

    Process Compliances:

    • Lead process initiatives and implementation
    • Use United technologies effectively
    • Support key operational processes and KPIs

    Cost Management & Controls:

    • Monitor financial activities and budgets
    • Manage billing, invoicing, and expenses
    • Implement transitions for new business

    Workforce & Performance Management:

    • Co-Lead Performance Management for Partners

    Recruitment, Training & Development:

    • Support Partner Effectiveness in recruitment and training
    • Lead In-Store Partner Training
    • Mentor and coach partners for performance improvement

    Education/Experience:

    Degree in business administration or related field

    Minimum of 5 years' experience in Janitorial industry or operational environments

    3-5 years' experience in a supervisory role
