Summary of responsibilities:


What you need to succeed:


To qualify for the position, you must have:

  • Graduated from a recognized college or university with a specialization in Human Resources, Business Administration or another specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience in creating data/pivot tables, charts/graphs and analyzing and validating large sets of data.
  • Excellent technical data management skills and proficiency in SQL coding and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting and auditing data for inconsistencies.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Previous experience using HRIS systems, familiarity with Ceridian Dayforce is an asset.
  • Experience with total rewards programs and process including compensation reviews and analysis is considered an asset.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills with the ability to think conceptually, analyze data, identify and effectively communicate trends and report.

Valuable skills include:


  • Ability to use HRIS systems and extract data using existing reports.
  • Canadian Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or Certified Compensation Professional (CPP) designation or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting the development and delivery of programs, policies and procedures in a human resources environment.
  • Knowledge of the principles, theories and current trends and practices in the field of human resources.
  • Knowledge of applicable legislative requirements that govern human resource management.

Specific work requirements:


  • Ability to work overtime as required;
  • Ability to travel as required;
  • Language profile: CBCC;
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance;
  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
