The Venture Steel family is growing and we have immediate opening for anIndustrial Cleaner/Custodian on our
afternoon shift - 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

If you are comfortable around machinery, working safely as part of a dynamic team, and you're ready to move beyond just taking that 'next job' then we need to talk

Highlights/Benefits:

- $20 per hour plus $0.55 cent shift premium for the afternoon shift

Responsibilities and Duties:

Cleaning and restocking restrooms
Removing trash

- _Floor care_

Cleaning and maintaining lunchrooms and change rooms
Maintenance or small repair work in the facility or on the grounds
Operate cleaning machines and standard cleaning tools
Follow safe 'Standard Operating Procedures' and working as part of a team
Taking direction from Supervisors and other duties as required

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: high school or equivalent
Industrial experience is preferred but we're willing to train
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Use of powered industrial cleaning equipment such as floor cleaners is essential
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident status
Steel industry experience is considered an asset
