Opportunity:
HR Coordinator

Job Location:
Fort McMurray - Gregoire Office
Report to:
HR Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Full cycle recruitment.
- Post and collect resumes for vacant positions.
- Assist with recruitment and interview process.
- Conduct prescreen interviews.
- Check prospective employee references.
- Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Recommend new policies and procedures to effect company improvements and organizational efficiencies.
- Conduct audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommend corrective action.
- Assist with processing of contract amendment and terminations.
- Understanding of current pay structures and training requirements
- Prepare new employee files & ensure workhub accounts are updated accordingly.
- Request, file papers and documents into appropriate employee files.
- Assist on and prepare correspondence.
- Track performance reviews.
- Track and communicate Safety Sync compliance levels with employees/managers
- Perform interviews, screens, and recruit for entry level and technical job openings.
- Provide general information and assistance internally and externally over the phone, electronically and in person.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Certificate in Human Resources management required or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the construction industry preferred.
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal skills.
- Strong morals and ethics, along with a commitment to staff privacy.
- Knowledge of principles, theories, and techniques related to recruitment and job descriptions.
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
- Ability to use general office equipment.
- Professional appearance and manners.
