Responsibilities:


  • Support regional Operations team with contractual availability reporting tools and customer inquiries
  • Provide data analytics on park performance and operational reliability analysis
  • Perform data analysis, develop insights, and make recommendations to improve operational efficiencies
  • Provides data analytics based on stakeholder requests and collaboration
  • Engage with operations and financial management to develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports in support of recurring business reviews
  • Lead consolidation of the current number of reports to produce a more comprehensive analysis that serves a broader spectrum of stakeholders
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of current digital deliverables, identifies and executes updates and enhancements
  • Continuous development of industry leading data analysis and procedures to enhance the value of SGRE service
  • Lead with availability set up as it pertains to new sites
  • Process data and generate monthly customer reports, weekly health reports, & weekly availability dashboard
  • Support SQL database maintenance.
  • Support development of Health Reports for additional turbines platforms
  • Lead/ Support AM Digital Turbine initiative
  • Contribute to or conduct the maintenance and improvement of internal tools, equipment, processes, and data repositories
  • Provide end user training in multiple tools to improve reporting accuracy and support process & tool improvements


Required Knowledge, Education, Experience and Skills- Advanced experience with programming language (Python, Shiny, R preferred)- Advanced knowledge of SQL- 2-5 years of Wind industry experience years of successful experience in database development and report creation- Experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau and/or Minitab or similar- Advanced MS Office (word, power point, excel) skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Be self-motivated, able to think quickly and address problems as they arise- Ability to work in a highly paced environment and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Mathematics, other).- Team skills and ability to collaboratively work with peers across all levels of the business both local and international- A passion for key performance metrics, using them to communicate status and demonstrate improvements- Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the Canada.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Experience with GRT, WindOne Availability
  • Knowledge and/or Experience with SCADA systems
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent degree/experience
  • Portuguese is a plus
