Internship Opportunity:
Creative Services
The Brampton Honey Badgers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League are seeking a motivated, outgoing and dedicated
Communications team in a variety of tasks such as: upholding the team brand and guidelines, maintenance of the Honey
Badgers social media channels, capturing and creating engaging content for all digital platforms, and supporting Honey
Badgers operations and community team.

Responsibilities include:
- Support social media campaigns and develop plans to engage and educate audiences digitally (Instagram, Twitter,
- Capture, edit, and publish photo and video content at events hosted and attended by the Honey Badgers
- Create social media content in collaboration with Sr. Coordinator, Marketing, Communications, and Events and
- Graphic Designer
- Stay up to date with the latest trends to plan and execute content effectively
- Plan and execute major announcements and campaigns across digital platforms
- Support Honey Badgers community and operations team with community and other team events
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program (preferably in Sport Management, Communications, Marketing,
- Experience capturing photography and videography in a sport setting, including editing and publishing.
- Possess strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Flexible work schedule including some nights and weekends
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous experience maintaining and coordinating social media channels for a business, team, or organization is an
- asset
- Thorough knowledge of the Honey Badgers roster, the CEBL and its teams, and the sport of basketball is an asset
Type of Position:
Internship (Unpaid - Must be for Academic Credit)
Term:
Summer 2024 Semester (May August 2024)
