Job Title:
Receptionist - Mississauga ON
Shift - 8am to 5pm
Intersection
- Courtney Park DR East and Vipond DR.
- $17-19 per hr
Reports To:
Controller
Job Purpose
To answer the phones in a polite and courteous manner and directing calls accordingly.
Regular
Responsibilities:
- System log in
- Log in to P21 and phone system daily
- Answering the Phones
- Answering the phones in a polite and courteous manner
- Speaking in a clear and professional fashion
- Directing calls to the appropriate department
- Ensure that the phone's 'night service" is turned off by 8:00am and turned on at the end
- Ensure that the doorbell is turned on at the end of the day and off at the beginning of the next day
- Following up on messages
- Walkin Customers
- Greet customers entering into showroom in a friendly and pleasant manner
- Acknowledging customers as they are leaving the building
- Covid19 Protocol
- Ensuring that all customers entering the building are wearing a face mask if they refuse to ask direct them to call the office outside for curbside assistance
- Attendance
- Complete the attendance sheet daily noting any absences
- Attendance
- Checking Delivery List
- Determining if all deliveries have been invoiced
- Invoicing
- Invoice outside sales deliveries
- Unconfirmed Pick Ticket list
- Sort mail into applicable groups
- Alphabetically sort cheques
- Date stamp al mail (excluding cheques)
- Deliver mail to the appropriate departments at your final daily break
- Process outgoing mail accordingly
- Prepare cheques for mailing out
- Cash Drawer
- Lock and unlook the cash drawer daily (key is outside of bookshelf at the first inside
- Flyers
- Creating holiday fliers with company hours
- When receiving fliers, ensure a Try Hard sticker is on it
- Keep the fliers uptodate
- Coffee
- Maintain an adequate coffee supply, including milk and cream
- Courier
- Sign for packages upon their arrival
- Labels
- Prepare and print applicable customer / product labels
- Supplies
- Maintain adequate stationary supplies including debit machine rolls
- Accounts Payable
- Assist in the processing of invoices into P21 through DocStar IDC and DocStar
- Provide backup support in processing 'rush' cheques

$17.00-$19.00 per hour

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
- Mandarin (preferred)
