Seeking a full-time
Accounting and Payroll Administrator to join our team.


Accounts Payable administration

  • Process all accounting functions related to Accounts Payable.
  • Data entry of invoices for payment.
  • Manage the weekly payment schedule; prepare cheque, EFT and wire payments (multicurrency transactions USD/CAD).
  • Working knowledge and experience with 3way matching.
  • Reconcile, match, and record corporate credit cards.
  • Prepare and enter monthend closing journal entries.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities.
  • Performs standard administrative tasks, preparing reports, maintaining records, filing.
  • Preform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing need of the organization.

Payroll and benefit administration

  • Full cycle semi monthly payroll processing for two locations.
  • Add need employees ensuring all new employee paperwork is completed in full.
  • Process employee benefits plan enrollments updates and cancellations.
  • Processing government agency remittances; WCB return, T4s, ROEs, source deductions, etc.
  • Reconciliations and journal entries for benefit and RRSP allocation, and payroll journal entries.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of payroll experience.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Experience with QuickBooks desktop.
  • Knowledge of ADP payroll system is an asset.
  • Full cycle accounting experience.
  • Inventory software experience is an asset.
  • Well organized, able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
