- Directed ordering,receipt and checking of standard food and related products against PO's
- Area requisitions andinvoices
- Taking action to ensurethat substitutions for shortages are found acceptance of quality products orreturn of unacceptable product and ensuring that proper credit is received
- Proper handling and/orstoring of perishable products
- Cleaning and maintainingof receiving area, dock (internal and external) and all assigned food and goodsstorage areas
- Assisting with thereview of invoices compared to established contracts to ensure accuracy
- Providing andmaintaining scheduled inventory counts as required
- Training, organizingworkflow, follow-up with, and guidance to the support team members
- Must be able to start at6:30 am to do shift coverage from occasionally and up to 3 weeks for holidaycoverage
- Ensuring all dutiesperformed are in alignment with all of applicable NAIT audit standards
- Otheradministrative duties as required

- FoodHandler's certificate or equivalent
- 2-3years directly related experience, placing orders with vendors, receiving,storage, and dispatching of materials and supplies within a large food relatedservice environment
- Experiencein a large institutional food service setting preferred
- Detailedknowledge of all Food Service guidelines, Food Handling Safety and Sanitation,and HACCP
- Generalknowledge of Food Safety Regulations; WHMIS standards; NAIT purchasingpolicies; Occupational Health and Safety guidelines
- Equivalenciesmay be considered, combination of education and experience
