Victoria, BC Local Union 1598 is seeking Carpenters & Carpenter Apprentices. We offer competitive salary, full benefits package, Paid training, Paid Time Off, and opportunities for professional growth.


The CRC collective agreements offer premium wage rates, a pension plan, and a comprehensive benefit plan for you and your family.

Apprentices earn a percentage of the Journeyperson rate with established increases determined by completed work hours and schooling.


Qualifications

Carpenter with commercial layout experience


Example:
Total station experience.

  • Must reside within Victoria or within 75km from the Victoria.
  • At least 1 year previous commercial concrete flatwork finishing experience
  • Able to operate a concrete power finish trowel, both hand and rideon models
  • Able to work varied hours, afternoons, evenings and early mornings as required
  • Be in good health and physically fit
  • Effective oral communication skills

Salary:
$26.40-$44.00 per hour
