Carpenters Regional Council Local 1370 is looking for an Industrial Insulator for a site in Chetwynd, BC
SHIFT:
4 days a week 10hr days LOA $165 for days worked you get travel in on Monday $143.50 and travel out on Thursday $143.
50Required Certificates:
h2s alive, WHMIS 2015, Common Safety Orientation (CSO), fall protection and genie ticket/ MEWP cert.
Duties
- Install insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas
- Seal gaps and cracks with caulk or other sealants to ensure proper insulation
- Install vapor barriers and fireretardant materials as required
- Use hand tools such as saws, knives, and tape measures to complete insulation installations
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Previous experience in insulation installation is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and understanding construction plans
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, knives, and tape measures
Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract
Salary:
$30.00-$50.00 per hour
