About the Position:

Responsibilities:

Drafting and Design:

Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings of industrial ventilation systems using CAD software. Collaborate with the engineering team to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate drawings.

System Layouts:

Develop layout plans for industrial ventilation systems, considering factors such as airflow, ductwork, and equipment placement.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Material and Component Selection:

Work closely with the engineers and project managers to select appropriate materials and components for ventilation system construction.
Maintain an uptodate knowledge of industry trends and advancements in ventilation technology.

Quality Control:

Review and validate drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to design standards.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any discrepancies or issues identified during the drafting process.

Documentation:

Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of ventilation system designs, including bill of materials and technical specifications.
Assist in the preparation of user manuals and installation guides.

Qualifications:

CET, Drafting Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Drafter, with a focus on industrial ventilation systems.
Sheet Metal Drafting and/or pipe processing experience considered an asset.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
Strong understanding of industrial ventilation principles and design standards.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality work.
Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.
