- Must have Current General Class (Practicing) Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical experience required, emergency experience is preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Completion of Coronary Care 1 or willingness to complete within the first year of employment is required
- Completion of ACLS or willingness to complete within the first 6 months of employment is required
- Completion of PALS or willingness to complete within the first 6 months of employment is required
- Completion of STOP Harm training (or equivalent training by in-house provider) within 6 months
- Completion of the Emergency Nurse certificate within the first year of employment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other professions/disciplines in a team environment and advocate effectively
