Application Support Specialist
Tradable Bits is an award-winning tech company that helps music, entertainment, and sports brands build better fan experiences. We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Web Application Support Specialist to join our Development team.

You must have a solid understanding of web-based technology, excellent communication skills, and pride in managing your own schedule and workload.


Not only will you be responsible for assisting clients worldwide with prompt, friendly, and accurate service, you will also get your hands dirty identifying and fixing bugs, developing product features and solving integration issues.

We are seeking a self-starter with a passion for all things technology and customer service, who likes to check under the hood and understand how things work.


What You Will Do:


  • Quickly master the Tradable Bits platform and know the insandouts of our complex, evolving technology
  • Efficiently troubleshoot reported issues or queries in detail to diagnose and differentiate between product and nonproduct issues in order to provide accurate, valid, and complete information to our partners
  • Assist our Development team in developing new product features, integrations, improvements, and bug fixes
  • Write high quality code covering everything from the database to frontend
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Success Team to prioritize the client experience and streamline the resolution of any client concerns, as well as identify any bugs on the platform impacting its usability
  • Support clients with their fanengagement/digital activation campaigns via CSS and JavaScript customization, as well as identify and collaborate on new opportunities to leverage the existing functionality of the platform in order to help them achieve success

Skills and Attributes:


  • Solid understanding of the network protocols necessary for web development (HTTP, TLS, TCP).
  • Understanding of core Unix concepts (threading, processes, memory)
  • Development experience with scripting languages (Ideally Python, Perl, PHP, Ruby)
  • Able to write clean and functional HTML / CSS / Javascript without relying on frameworks
  • Experience working with complex relational databases
  • Familiarity working with third party APIs and documentation
  • CMS management experience
  • Familiarity with video encoding and live streaming service considered an asset
  • Understanding of tracking/conversion pixels and cookies
  • Understanding modern web tracking technologies and network stacks

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 1 2 year industry experience
  • BSc in Science, Math, Engineering, or related considered an asset
  • Proven software implementation experience in a SaaS or webbased environment
  • Managing CMS systems like Wordpress, Drupal, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of thirdparty campaign management platforms like Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads, and AdWords is a plus.
