As our innovative business continues to rapidly grow, we are seeking a full-time Receiver at our Richmond location. Reporting to the Receiving Supervisor, the Receiver is responsible for ensuring all received products meet quality standards. $600 retention bonus after four months and another $600 retention bonus after 8 months (new hire only)
Duties & Responsibilities- Loading and unloading delivery trucks- Ensure all products received meet quality standards which include- Checking the temperature of the product- Spot-checking fresh/frozen products as needed- Create labels and input products in Canopy for inventory purposes- Utilize electric pallet jacks/forklifts to move product- Commitment to Food Safety by adhering to HACCP and CFIA hygiene rules / sanitary work practices- Other duties as required

Requirements:

Completion of high school
Forklift/Reach truck experience/certification is an asset
Strong communication and computer literacy skills
Seafood product and food safety knowledge an asset
HACCP knowledge is a benefit
RF scanning knowledge is a benefit
Canopy program knowledge is a benefit
Exceptional teamwork skills
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
Comfortable working in a cooler and wet environment
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am4:30pm with potential overtime
