POSITION TITLE:
Paint/Blast

REPORTS TO:
Production Supervisor

LOCATION:
Owen Sound, Ontario

SHIFT Weekend Shift - 3 x 12hour shifts - Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Working within an industrial paint booth, safely operate, clean, and maintain all paint spray equipment, including the booth itself, guns, pots, and solvent based cleaner.
Following drawings, select appropriate paint and mix same, using paint mixing equipment according to a predetermined formula.
As required, mask areas using masking tape, magnets, or grease to omit paint as specified.
Operate material handling devices such as overhead cranes, and forklift in compliance with applicable safety standards. Safely utilize various types of rigging for lift and transportation of loads.
Cross train within other departments as may be required on temporary basis.

Qualifications/EXPERIENCE

Three to Five (35) years of related industrial/manufacturing and/or auto collision paint experience
Crane Operator training and certification with 3+ years of experience is an asset
Forklift Operator training and certification with 3+ years of experience is an asset
Quality conscious, meticulous, and seasoned paint booth operator / painter
