We are a well-established family farm looking to hire additional staff members to meet the needs of our growing business.

We are currently looking for an Animal Care Attendant - Small Animal.

Responsibilities Include:

Creating a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment for staff.
Interacting with animals in a safe and respectful manner.
Monitoring animal behaviour and health, reporting any concerns.
Feeding, watering, and cleaning of animal housing according to established protocols.
General cleaning and disinfecting of your department.
You will need to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labour such as bending, stooping and standing for extended periods.

Previous work experience on a farm or animal breeding facility.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and effectively manage multiple demands in a fastpaced environment.
Ability to effectively prioritize.
High attention to detail and organization.
Previous work experience in a supervisory role.
Strong, effective communication abilities, both written and verbal with the ability to adapt your style to meet the needs of the person you are communicating with.
Selfmotivated, dedicated to continually learning.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
