Description

We are a well-established family farm looking to hire additional staff members to meet the needs of our growing business.

We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude who are not afraid of hard work. An attention to detail is important when caring for animals.

Day to day duties include but are not limited to:
Feeding and Watering the Animals

Cleaning Animal Housing

Cleaning and Maintaining the Facility

NOTE:
This is a fast paced environment in which time standards apply. The work is labour intensive and dirty (full wheelbarrows, manure, hay bales, etc.). Must be able stack hay bales and lift 50 pound feed bags.

Although having a love for animals is a must, having some work experience within a farm environment would be an asset.

The position is full time, 5 days per week, may include weekend shifts.

The starting wage will be $16.00 per hour during the 3 month probationary period, and then based upon performance, will increase to $17.00 per hour.

This position is mostly indoors.
