As part of the Loyalty Team at Loblaw, you will be part of a group that drives the future direction of Canada's largest and most loved loyalty program.


As an _Analyst, Loyalty Member Growth and Acquisition - Co-op _within the PC Optimum Loyalty Portfolio management team, you will work on the team responsible for leading and supporting new initiatives for the program to drive member engagement and acquisition for PC Optimum.

You will leverage your passion for customers and analytical skills to uncover and report on customer and loyalty program insights.


  • Please note this position is based out of Loblaw's Downtown Toronto office (500 Lake Shore Blvd W). The incumbent will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week, and virtually for 2 days per week._

What You'll Do:


  • Manage everyday executions of loyalty campaigns for the PC Optimum program including idea generation, campaign setups, performance reviews, customer data analysis, and budget management.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to report on shortterm and longterm performance of the loyalty campaigns with a focus on measuring progress against objectives and key results (OKRs) (e.g., digital engagement)
  • Deep dive into customer journeys to understand and empathize with customer pain points and identify opportunities with respect to customer engagement, business strategy, and experience with our Loyalty program
  • Support detailed analysis (data sourcing, analysis, testing) to ensure reliability, credibility and viability of conclusions and recommendations
  • Develop concise and easy to understand strategic and customer insights from data analysis
  • Across all of the above responsibilities, collaborate with crossfunctional stakeholders including but not limited to Loyalty Portfolio Management, Vendor Loyalty, Loyalty Partnerships, Loblaw Technology & Analytics, Loyalty Operations, Marketing, and/or Loblaw Digital

What You'll Need:


  • Be enrolled in 2nd or 3rd university, working toward a degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Ability to synthesize large amount of data into insights
  • Strong intuition for business
  • Curiosity and willingness to ask questions
  • Strong communicator skills and comfortable collaborating within crossfunctional team
  • Excellent organization ability to stay on top of a multifaceted and fast paced business, while leading multiple assignments at a time
  • Strong teammate and selfstarter
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and quality
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Basic knowledge of SQL is a must
  • Experience in Retail an asset
