- Clinical Informatics**The OneChart Professional Practice Consultant (PPC) supports the OneChart partner hospitals in the development of the electronic health record (EHR). This role facilitates the development of structures, systems, and resources relating to the design and function of the EHR to support and advance Health Disciplines professional practice within an interdisciplinary care model. The PPC is responsible for consulting and collaborating with professional staff, practice leaders/directors, ITS and informatics across all sites to ensure the integration of evolving Health Disciplines practice standards and workflows in the development, evaluation, standardization, and optimization of the electronic health record, in the delivery of patient/familycentred care across the entire care journey.

Qualifications:
- Successful Completion of an Masters Degree in a regulated health field or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
- Minimum five (5) years of recent related experience
- Current Certificate of Competence from applicable College
- Membership with applicable Ontario Associations preferred
- Demonstrated record of strong, positive leadership in the applicable profession
- Experience functioning in a multidisciplinary health care environment
- Demonstrates an ability to influence organizational and professional directions from a staff position
- Demonstrates knowledge and skill in program development, evaluation and education
- Evidence of proficiency in establishing effective interpersonal relationships, consensus building, conflict resolution, consultation and coaching/mentoring style of leadership
- Knowledge of current professional practice issues and care delivery systems
- Demonstrates strong research and research facilitation expertise
- Demonstrates advanced project management skills
- Demonstrates advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, internet and literature searches
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's vision, purpose and values
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
Immunization Requirements:
Before beginning employment at LHSC, all new hires will be required to:
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis;
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step);
- Provide proof of Health Canadaapproved COVID19 vaccination reflective of Ontario Health's current definition of being fully vaccinated
