    We are currently recruiting for a Electrical Engineer to join our Power & Drives Business Unit in our Calgary Solutions Centre.

    Providing technical project support, knowledge and experience relating to power systems, the successful candidate will be a driven, self-starter who enjoys a challenge and is motivated to meet and exceed customer expectations.

    This role will report to the Manager, Operations - Systems, Software & Solutions.
    An integral component of the project team working with project management, engineering, and manufacturing personnel.
    Responsible for electrical aspects of the project; project scope includes but not limited to:
    Low voltage motor control centers (600VAC and below)
    Industrial electrical equipment buildings
    Supporting projects through engineering design, integration, commissioning and start-up activities
    Ensuring compliance with all applicable engineering and safety standards, practices, procedures, plant documentation requirements and methods of installation
    PM, CAD, Manufacturing, Sales)
    Creating and maintaining detailed project records
    Understanding project management processes
    Electrical Engineering degree and eligibility to register as an EIT with APEGA is a requirement.
    Electrical design/installation experience an asset.
    Knowledge of industry regulations, standards and practices an asset.
    Experience with MCC design and manufacturing, VFD packaging, and system integration an asset.
    valid driver license required.

    As such, successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment Alcohol and Drug test and background check.
