If you like to fix things, have good problem-solving skills, like to keep things organized and clean, and like a variety of tasks each day - then this job is for you We are looking for a Maintenance Helper to start immediately to keep our facility and equipment in good working order, clean, neat, and sanitized.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:


  • Superior problemsolving skills
  • Skilled working with their hands.
  • Ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools, lawn and garden equipment, and cleaning solutions and chemicals.
  • Knowledge and understanding of cleaning, sanitization, and maintaining a clean and tidy building and campus.

EDUCATION:


  • High School Diploma, _required_
  • College Diploma in a skilled trade _preferred_
  • A valid and clean driver's license, _required_
  • Successful completion of WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety online course, _required_ (can be acquired once hired)

EXPERIENCE:


Two years experience working in maintenance, or a trade (construction, electrical, HVAC, plumbing) or similar experience maintaining buildings and a facility.
