Golf Services - Back Shop Employee:

Must be available to work weekday mornings starting May 1st, 2023.POSITION TITLE:
Back Shop Employee
SCHEDULED HOURS:
Full Time - Seasonal
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Perform a variety of activities and light maintenance tasks both outdoors and indoors in the Golf Services department.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Perform various light maintenance tasks around the Golf Shop both inside and outdoors.
- Clean assigned areas; sweep and mop floors; replenish linen supplies, dispose of garbage
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
FUNCTIONAL COMPENTENCIES:
- Preparation and staging of golf equipment for use by members and guests
- Clean all golf equipment prior to storage
- Equipment must be stored accurately in appropriate numerical stall number
- Handle all member and guest equipment with care
- Operate Golf Carts and Range Picker safely
- Lifting requirements: 25kg above head
EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Work requires the ability to understand and follow instructions normally acquired through a partial high school education
- Customer service experience considered an asset

- Refill Den Caddies
- Clean Range deck of tees
- Clean member/guest clubs
- Tidy Short Game
- Rake Bunker
- Repeat
- Outside Operations
- Cart Staging to par levels
- Pull and stage golf bags
- Clean Member and Guest Clubs
- Clean and Detail Carts
- Arrange and Clean Pull carts
- Clean Clubs
- Store Clubs Accurately in bag stalls
- Water Hose/Pressure Washer (Use and return with care)
- Garbage and Recycling done daily (check with golf shop at end of day)
- Refill Divot Bottles as needed
- Assist Golf Shop with Tournament/Event setup and execution
- Maintain Lost and Found
- Retrieve Demo Clubs from Golf Bags and return to Golf Shop
- Refill tires on carts with air if necessary
- Communicate to other team members via a 2 way radio
Job Types:

From $15.50 per hour
