The Carleton Golf & Yacht Club is currently seeking a
Line Cook.

Located along the banks of the Rideau River just minutes from downtown Ottawa, Carleton was one of the first golf course residential communities established in North America.

Established in 1963, CGYC is a member-owned private facility known for its outstanding course conditions, friendly atmosphere, and an unwavering commitment to offering an unforgettable member experience.

In recent years, Carleton has hosted the PGA of Ottawa Zone Championship, PGA Canadian Seniors' Championship, and numerous Ottawa Valley Golf Association events.

Carleton Golf & Yacht Club is a 12-month golf facility and includes a championship golf course, an indoor Golf Academy and a Fitness area.

With a very active membership, Carleton has many golf, corporate, and social/dining events taking place throughout the year.

Working with other kitchen team members to provide quality food to our members
Adhering to safe and efficient food preparation processes
Working closely with all members of CGYC to achieve our goals
Taking part in menu item creation and bringing new ideas to freshen up the specials
Taking part in special events
Creating a safe work environment through health and safety guidelines
Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
Order food supplies as needed
Manage food waste and quality
Maintain the kitchen in accordance with food & beverage, health and safety regulations. Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations, including sanitary and food safety guidelines
Responsible for health and safety
Adheres to all federal, provincial, and municipal laws regarding health, safety and employment and Harassment
Previous experience in the golf and kitchen industry is considered an asset but is not mandatory
