Duties:

Administrative professionals at FCAC play an important role in supporting key Agency activities. FCAC is looking for dynamic and client service-oriented individuals to join the Corporate Services Administration Services Team.

Working as the Corporate Services Assistant you will provide a wide range of administrative support services to the Corporate Services Branch and the Agency.


Some of your duties may include:

  • Coordinate reception services by greeting agency visitors and announcing their arrival to staff, escorting guests as necessary
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and courier services, including processing, logging and distributing and in ensuring proper functioning of equipment and sufficient supplies
  • Coordinate logistics for branch meetings and agency events such as quarterly all staff, management retreats, planning sessions, training, etc including preparation of required hospitality approval forms and payments, and making travel arrangements/claims
  • Coordinate physical records and information management services for the branch.
  • Maintain documentation and electronic files
  • Process acquisition card payments/purchases
  • Work with an integrated financial management system (SAP) to process invoice payments, produce reports and provide budget analysis to the manager.
  • Respond to general enquiries by staff and action accordingly.

Essential Qualifications:
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to the position.

Degree equivalency

E1:
Experience in providing administrative support* services in an office environment;
E2. Experience in providing service to internal or external clients; and,

Experience coordinating accommodation/facilities requests with multiple service providers (such as central agencies, property building management, and other internal or external service providers).
