Our state-of-the-art facility is committed to sustainable practices and innovation in the cannabis industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Section Grower to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:

Cultivation Management: Coordinate and oversee all aspects of cannabis cultivation within your designated section, including planting, watering, feeding, pruning, and pest management.

Environmental Control: Monitor and maintain environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and lighting to optimize plant growth and health.

Nutrient Management: Develop and implement nutrient schedules tailored to the specific needs of cannabis plants at different stages of growth, ensuring optimal nutrition and health.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM): Implement IPM strategies to prevent and control pest and disease outbreaks, minimizing the need for chemical interventions.

Harvest Planning: Collaborate with the cultivation team to schedule and plan harvests, ensuring that plants are harvested at the peak of their potency and maturity.

Data Collection and Analysis: Maintain detailed records of cultivation activities, including plant health, environmental conditions, nutrient schedules, and harvest yields. Analyze data to identify trends and optimize cultivation practices.

Compliance: Stay up-to-date with local and state regulations governing cannabis cultivation. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation requirements.

Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of cultivation technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback as needed.

Facility Maintenance: Collaborate with the facility management team to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in cultivation areas.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in horticulture, agriculture, or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cannabis cultivation techniques, including nutrient management, and IPM.
  • Familiarity with environmental control systems and equipment used in indoor cultivation facilities.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Must pass a background check in accordance with Federal regulations.

Pay:
$40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Lincoln, ON L0R 1B3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
