Your Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the brewer during brews on our 20 HL mash filter brewhouse.
• Mill grains and weigh ingredients.
• Clean and sanitize tanks and other brewery equipment.
• Setup and sanitize lines and transfer loops.
• Transfer beers and prepare them for packaging.
• Help with yeast harvesting and cell counting.
• Oversee beer filtrations with our stateoftheart crossflow filter.
• Operate keg cleaner / filler.
• Monitor brewer processes.
• Maintain brewery cleanliness.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Help with packaging tasks as time and task load is required.
• Help with RTD production and cellaring tasks as time and task load requires.
• Help with other warehousing / production tasks as required.

Qualifications / requirements:

• Strong attention to detail while multitasking in complex scenarios
• Strong commitment to cleanliness
• A positive, professional attitude
• Ability to reliably and efficiently complete tasks to a high standard with mínimal supervision
• Able to lift 25 kg (55 lbs.)
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders safely and repeatedly.
• Ability to bend and lift safely and repeatedly.
• Ability to work safely with high pressure / temperature liquids and/or gases.
• Ability to learn quickly and understand complex equipment and processes.
• CSA approved safety boots.

Assets to have:

• Brewing training, knowledge, or experience.
• Beverage or food production or packaging experience.
• Forklift / pallet jack certification and/or experience.
• WHMIS certification
• Firstaid certification
• Quality control and quality assurance experience
• Yeast cell counting experience.
• Experience with Ekos brewery management software.

Work schedule:

• 8hour shift.
• 7 AM 3 PM (Some flexibility required), Monday to Friday
