Department Overview

  • The Strategic Editorial Content (SEC) Group is TD Wealth's inhouse News/media company responsible for "MoneyTalk brought to you by TD" and strategic and internal content. The team is a collection of talented professionals who bring their editorial, production, creative and technical expertise together to bring some of the best financial content in the industry to our clients showcasing the depth and breadth of TD Wealth's thought leadership.

We're looking for a talented communications leader who thrives in a fastpaced environment, is passionate about executive and strategic communications, looks for wisdom and clarity, wants to move quickly from idea to delivery, and builds and leads processes to work with teams inside wealth and across the bank.
  • You will be managing the high profile and high impact executive and strategic communications portfolio, which also included TD Branded clientfacing and internal employeefacing videos. You will be responsible for leading project management, individual projects and executive content support. You will help develop content properties, ideas, and logistics, and work with the SEC editorial and production teams, and executive teams. Your leadership will be critical to the success of the editorial ecosystem, and its expansion.
  • Core Responsibilities
  • Oversee logistics, development, launch of executive, strategic, client and employeefacing content projects
  • Work on developing both high production and high volume of content
  • Writing and sourcing of content for high level strategic projects
  • Work collaboratively with editorial, creative and production teams to ensure seamless process
  • Work collaboratively with partners (TDW, WIOC, SET, TDAM, PWM, FP, Marketing, CAPA & PAIR, Retail, compliance, legal) to develop unique strategies and tactics
  • Have the ability to both have the broad business vision as well as ability to execute (either by engaging staff or carry out the tactic personally)
  • The role is in regular contact with high level individuals internally and externally (executives, public figures) and requires someone with the maturity and knowledge base for impactful interaction and representation for TD Wealth

  • Proficient at organization and problem solver
  • A strong leader: diplomatic and clear a team player who understands the core skills of the team
  • A natural at taking ownership and showing entrepreneurship
  • Able to deal with complex multitasking and sensitive executive communications
  • Comfortable with tight timelines
  • Able to work well with others and as a strong team member
