Due to expansion, Dalton Capital based in Guelph Ontario is seeking an experienced, professional Social Media Coordinator. The Social Media Coordinator will develop, plan, and facilitate the Dalton Capital Marketing & Communications Plan.

Position Social Media Coordinator

Location:
work from home, with in-office and international travel as required.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in planning, development, and facilitation of Dalton Brands Marketing & Communications Plan to enhance the brand
  • Management and maintenance of online presence and, various social media channels and marketing campaigns
  • Assisting the management and growth of the SEO for all brands, with a consistent focus on current and future trends
  • Managing the implementation of data input, verbiage updates, and other content to gain recognition with search engine ranking algorithms
  • Assist with the creation of unique communication ideas for current and future seasons
  • Work with the marketing team to develop communications for programs
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to obtain and share project deliverables and assets
  • Development and implementation of metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and communication strategies
  • Utilize various methodologies and technologies to obtain statistical information as required.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop content for various campaigns and plans
  • Assisting with the design and production of print and digital marketing materials, such as but not limited to web banners, information booklets, flyers, posters, and bookmarks
  • Assisting in the collaboration of social media content and posts
  • Assisting with the creation and distribution of press releases
  • Maintaining a database of traditional media outlets, web bloggers, and other influencers
  • Planning and coordinator events and trade shows on behalf of the companies
  • Participating at events and trade shows (travel required)
  • Other marketing tasks as required

Qualifications:


  • University/College degree preferred with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising, or a related field is an asset.
  • Experience in adventure travel, and outdoor enthusiast product markets is an asset.
  • Legally eligible to be employed in Canada
  • 23 years of verified experience in a Social Media
  • Customerfocused and strong relationshipbuilding skills
  • Strong product/technology knowledge
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Professional presentation skills
  • Dependable
  • Clear communicator, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detailoriented & process focused
  • Organized and able to juggle and prioritize multiple account management servicing requirements with strict attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Proactive
  • Intermediate knowledge of all Microsoft Office products

In exchange for your dedication and hard work, we offer very competitive salary benefits.

Salary:
$60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
