The Consulting Services Manager is a regional role responsible for the identification, development, guidance, and support of Consulting Services based/Staff Augmentation-based, Professional Services and Managed Services opportunities.

Primarily working with CDW sales team (including Account Managers, Account Executives, Sales Management, and Partner Specialists), you will need to develop net new pipeline and close sales using Partner programs and incentives to deliver the best solution and price for the customer, while maintaining profitability.


What you'll do:


  • Engage directly with clients, by leveraging existing client relationships, to identify opportunities where CDW will leverage contractors or 3rd party relationships
  • Assist with recruiting efforts to identify the right skill set for contract based placements or project work
  • Attain margin and revenue contribution targets for Services in a collaborative overlayrole working in conjunction with a field sales team of Account Executives, Solution Architects, and practice overlays.
  • Contribute to yearly sales plans with Services goals and deliverables
  • Guide, develop and train the field sales team to the highest level of proficiency in the selling and delivering of Consulting Services assist in the development and distribution of specialized sales toolkits
  • Identify and develop new opportunities within region, across all vertical markets
  • Leverage existing CDW sales team and our existing customer base
  • Prospect for new Services opportunities
  • Schedule, attend and manage sales calls
  • Define, build and report on a weekly basis, the appropriate leading indicators needed to measure and track services sales activities and forecast Services growth
  • Participate in Sales Quarterly Business Reviews

Professional Services and Technical Team Responsibilities

  • Identify and recruit top Services talent for presales, engineering, project management and operational teams, based on the identified needs of individual customers
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of processes across multiple departments, including Professional Services, Project Management and Finance, to ensure successful contracting, delivery, onboarding, initialization and billing of Services contracts

Customer Experience Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Services' teams, recruiting teams and our current and prospective customers to evolve and improve our quality of service and the overall customer's experience

Marketing Responsibilities

  • Contribute and help drive the definition, creation, and execution of servicesrelated marketing programs, collateral and events, in partnership with the CDW Marketing Team.
  • Help build CDW's Services brand vertically, regionally, and nationally

What you need to succeed:


Must have:


  • Proven and progressive technology recruitment experience from either technologyfocused agency or inhouse/corporate environments. 5+ years preferred
  • Account Management experience in the staffing, consulting or professional services industry
  • Resource management, planning and forecasting experience
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Client engagement and management expertise
  • Exposure to project and/or staffing financial analysis
  • Experience in an overlaybased role, supporting teams of technology/solution focused Account Executives.
  • French fluency is an asset but not required
