We are a motivated, and dynamic team of self-starters and team collaborators; the Hotel Business is our first love, and sharing the INNhotels story is our passion.

We have ten hotels located in British Columbia (Invermere and Valemount) and in Alberta (Canmore, Jasper, Stony Plain, Grande Cache, and Red Deer).

We are currently seeking an Equipment Operator to join our travelling construction team. This team tends to repair and renovation of our 10 current properties across Alberta and B.C.

***: Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, and front-end loaders to excavate and move earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction or demolition projects.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, and loaders to move materials and earth
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure proper functioning
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and drawings to determine work requirements
  • Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to ensure project success
  • Operate equipment in a variety of weather conditions and terrains
  • Complete daily logs and reports to track equipment usage and maintenance
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS:


  • 3+ years of experience in operating heavy equipment such as skidsteers, bulldozers, excavators, and loaders
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation
  • Physical strength and ability to operate equipment for extended periods of time
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a heavy equipment operator training program or apprenticeship is an asset
  • Experience working in construction, mining, or other related industries
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions
  • Strong communication and problemsolving skills

Pay:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour

Experience:
