We are hiring a Supply Chain Manager at our Mississauga manufacturing facility.


This position is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Customer Service, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Estimating and CAD (Structural Design) Departments.


Responsibilities:


  • Create and implement a supply chain strategy
  • Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
  • Evaluate and report on KPIs
  • Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
  • Maintain supply chain inventory and records
  • Establish partnerships with new suppliers and maintain relationships with existing suppliers
  • Assist with planning, organizing and performing quarterly and year end inventory counts
  • Monitor monthly raw material inventories
  • Setup board pricing tables in Globetek
  • Control and manage the Approved Vendor List and update as require.
  • Complete customer questionnaires pertaining to sustainability, production, tenders etc
  • Manage the FSC program for compliance and complete annual audits
  • Source potential suppliers
  • Train and guide employees
  • Find costeffective solutions for supply chain processes
  • Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
  • Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth

Skills and Experience:


  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field
  • Previous experience as a supply chain manager or in a similar field
  • Previous management experience in a manufacturing environment preferably within the folding carton industry.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing practices (ISO)
  • Strong leadership, good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to organize and assign job tasks to employees
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
  • Creative problemsolving
  • A strategic and analytical mind
