As a IT Assistant, you will be responsible for providing IT technical and general communications support for a variety of projects within Arpeg's portfolio.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated, energetic individual who wants to challenge their abilities in dynamic work environments.
This opportunity is a 4-8-month contract that expires at the end of the Keeran and Yardi integrations.Contract extensions and or full-time employment may be considered at the expiration of the contract depending on Arpeg's existing workload.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Systems Maintenance & Operations
- Provides daytoday technical support to internal stakeholders, ensuring the smooth running of computers, network devices and printers
- Responds in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Maintains an IT asset register, manage inventory of hardware and software
- Works closely with our IT team on technology focused projects
- Assists with migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 (Office365, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Create SharePoint sites based on organization and team needs
- Assist with building out a multiplatform reporting environment
- Assists with migration from Yardi Breeze to Yardi Voyager
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and project leads to build out and improve upon workflows
- Logs all maintenance and construction activities in the appropriate management systems
- Consults with management on quality issues, technical issues / problems, etc.
- Report all injuries, incidents or unsafe working conditions to their direct supervisor or site HSE coordinator as soon as possible
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with and excellent understanding of Windows and Mac OS systems.
- Bachelor of Engineering or Computer Science is preferred
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong computer and webbased problemsolving skills
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Experienced with Office 365 Microsoft Office Suite is required
- Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate is an asset
- Scripting experience is an asset
- Experience building reporting backend (relational database)
The main objective of the IT Assistant will be to undertake maintenance and support related tasks, and to assist with Arpeg's Google Workspace to Microsoft Office365 migration at our downtown Vancouver location.
COMPENSATION - (TO BE PRORATED ACCORDING TO CONTRACT LENGTH)
- Salary will be a minimum of $50,000.00 annually with negotiation consistent for commensurate experience
