Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains strong customer relationships to encourage repeat and referral business
  • Handles customer complaints promptly, tactfully, and with genuine concern following dealership guidelines
  • Ensures customers are informed of the current situation and provides regular updates
  • Goes above and beyond to exceed customer satisfaction, even in the face of obstacles
  • Ensures every customer interaction is positive and consistent
  • Greets and assists customers entering the showroom or sales lot, offering guidance and support
  • Assists customers in vehicle selection by asking questions and actively listening to their needs
  • Thoroughly explains vehicle features, benefits, and options available for purchase
  • Offers test drives and follows dealership procedures for customer identification
  • Follows up on postdelivery items, tag/title work, and special requests to meet customer expectations
  • Provides information on payment options and processes sales orders
  • Conducts timely followups with all sales customers within one day
  • Maintains a presentable and functional showroom in line with Gyro standards
  • Ensures accurate pricing and specifications for all vehicles
  • Maintains regular contact with all customers
  • Refers customers to the Finance Manager as appropriate
  • Initiates the appraisal process by completing the necessary forms with customers
  • Keeps updated on Hyundai/Mazda vehicle range, specifications, and competitor products
  • Maintains a professional appearance at all times

Skills:


  • Excellent communication skills (written & oral) with a strong ability to present information to others.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Experience Requirements:


  • High School degree or equivalent (minimum requirement)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Clean criminal record
  • OMVIC certification (Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council)

The physical and work demands necessary to carry out the primary duties and responsibilities of the job successfully are as follows.

  • Walking throughout the dealership and lots
  • Bending, stretching, lifting, climbing, and reaching
  • Standing for six to eight hours during a shift
  • Utilizing physical and manual dexterity
  • Using computers for data entry and research
  • Operating equipment in accordance with industry standards
  • Driving vehicles

Work:


  • Exposure to noise
  • Presence of dust
  • Regularly working outdoors in all seasons

Salary:
$50,000.00-$99,990.59 per year

Experience:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)

  • OMVIC (required)
