Responsibilities:


  • Clean and maintain office areas, including floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Empty trash cans and recycling bins, and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Sanitize hightouch surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, and communal equipment.
  • Clean and restock restrooms with necessary supplies like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
  • Vacuum carpets and sweep or mop hard floors to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Dust and wipe down office furniture, including desks, chairs, and conference tables.
  • Maintain a tidy break room or kitchen area, including cleaning appliances and replenishing supplies.
  • Follow cleaning schedules and guidelines to ensure all areas are cleaned regularly.
  • Report any maintenance issues, such as broken equipment or plumbing problems, to the appropriate personnel.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and use cleaning products safely and effectively.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an office cleaner or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
  • Attention to detail to ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly.
  • Good communication skills to interact with office staff and supervisors.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects.
