Description
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain office areas, including floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures.
- Empty trash cans and recycling bins, and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Sanitize hightouch surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, and communal equipment.
- Clean and restock restrooms with necessary supplies like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Vacuum carpets and sweep or mop hard floors to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
- Dust and wipe down office furniture, including desks, chairs, and conference tables.
- Maintain a tidy break room or kitchen area, including cleaning appliances and replenishing supplies.
- Follow cleaning schedules and guidelines to ensure all areas are cleaned regularly.
- Report any maintenance issues, such as broken equipment or plumbing problems, to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to safety procedures and use cleaning products safely and effectively.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an office cleaner or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
- Attention to detail to ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly.
- Good communication skills to interact with office staff and supervisors.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects.
