As a Patching Crew Foreperson, You Will:

Ensure that daily operations are carried out in accordance with company objectives
Work or driveways and with hand picker crew
Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and with the Miller Health and Safety Policies and Procedures, in daily operations, as well as ensuring that Health and Safety training is carried out in accordance with requirements
Communicate daily with site coordinator and superintendent
Oversee the effective utilization of manpower, equipment, inventory, and project development
Perform Quality Control duties to ensure workmanship and specifications are met or exceeded
Maintain production schedules and budgeted operating costs
Coordinate the construction schedule, balance to targets and customer needs
Represent Miller during onsite visits with the customer, authorities and regulatory agencies
Ensure all equipment is clean and operating in a safe, efficient manner while minimizing operating costs

What You'll Bring:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as foreman, handling a crew.
Must have a valid minimum class 5 driver's licence with driver's abstract meeting Miller's expectations
Ability to operate in a fast pace and demanding environment in a safe and effective manner
Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others; team player who is willing to help out in all areas
Must have a high attention to detail and the ability to think critically
Punctual and reliable, with the ability to work overtime and weekends if needed
Must be able to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions
Excellent organizational and people skills and attention to detail
Travel is required
