BDH Project Management and Engineering team is looking for a Project Migration Specialist in the Beneficiation, Dewatering and Hydrometallurgy (BDH) Business Line, Services for the upcoming SAP system change.

This position will be a temporary contract for aproximately two years, depending on the SAP data migration schedule.

Job

Responsibilities:

Facilitate and coordinate all the data migration actions or agreed data objects. Including but not limited to
Validating global data scoping rules, conversion rules, value mapping etc.

Working with global data migration team to adjust and improve rules to fit the project management and countries specific exceptions.

Facilitate the date validation, reconciliation and sign-off.
Coordinate the work with the project manager, relevant country stakeholders and global SAP development (SAPphire) stakeholders.
Ensure quality and schedule of deliverables from a global project management standpoint.
Participate in the Data Cleansing process.
Harmonizing data when moving from two systems to a single system.
Ensuring all mandatory fields of the target system are populated with adequate quality data.
Fixing all data issues that are preventing the loading of data into the new system.
Assist in the cleaning and closing outdated transactions in legacy systems.
Cleansing and improving the quality of the data in business-critical data fields.
Identification and removal of duplicate records.
Identifying and removing data related to divested or discontinued business. Data that has no value to the company anymore.
Assist in the Data Loading process.
Assist in the Data Validation process.
Assist in determining the data objects for Data Migration.
Work in accordance with Metso processes, tools, policies, values and strategies.
Ensure Metso QHSE standards are followed.

Qualifications/Experience:

College or University degree; or relevant business qualification.
Experience in project administration, contracts, project control, procurement, quality control or scheduling.
SAP working experience is mandatory; preferrable in Principal Company Model (PCM).
Experience in working with data.
Familiar with Project Management process.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and effective interpersonal skills.
Ability to work on several projects effectively and accurately simultaneously.
Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under stress in order to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to develop strong trusting relationship to gain support and achieve results.
Ability to work well in a team enviroment.
