Job Summary

Technical and financial Project Management of automated process projects
Develop electromechanical controls designs and specify hardware components
Develop industrial network architecture designs and specifications
Review, consult on, and commission automated processes including electrical, mechanical and fluid power systems
Work closely with our clients, OEMs and internal project team to provide automated solutions
Develop, present, and review technical documentation
Professionally interact with clients and OEMs at their facilities
Uphold and promote safe work practices as per client and RidgeTech Automation's safety policies and requirements

Job Qualifications and Skills

Degree in Engineering Science or equivalent field is required
35 years of relevant work experience in the controls and automation industry
Experience with Networking and Server architectures
Topologies, hardware/software specifications, deployment, and maintenance
Ability to review technical electrical information
Knowledge of Industrial Controls, Industrial Networking, and related protocols
Strong command of the verbal and written English language to coordinate with clients and OEMs
Ability to promote and maintain client relations through effective project management and dialogue
Ability to professionally present proposals and technical documentation to clients in groups larger than 10
Highly motivated team player, with a positive attitude and able to communicate well with team members and clients
Willingness to continuously learn and develop skillset
Programming knowledge of multiple software platforms is considered an asset
Experience in Manufacturing/Production environments and electromechanical systems is an asset
