Job Summary

  • Technical and financial Project Management of automated process projects
  • Develop electromechanical controls designs and specify hardware components
  • Develop industrial network architecture designs and specifications
  • Review, consult on, and commission automated processes including electrical, mechanical and fluid power systems
  • Work closely with our clients, OEMs and internal project team to provide automated solutions
  • Develop, present, and review technical documentation
  • Professionally interact with clients and OEMs at their facilities
  • Uphold and promote safe work practices as per client and RidgeTech Automation's safety policies and requirements

Job Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Engineering Science or equivalent field is required
  • 35 years of relevant work experience in the controls and automation industry
  • Experience with Networking and Server architectures
  • Topologies, hardware/software specifications, deployment, and maintenance
  • Ability to review technical electrical information
  • Knowledge of Industrial Controls, Industrial Networking, and related protocols
  • Strong command of the verbal and written English language to coordinate with clients and OEMs
  • Ability to promote and maintain client relations through effective project management and dialogue
  • Ability to professionally present proposals and technical documentation to clients in groups larger than 10
  • Highly motivated team player, with a positive attitude and able to communicate well with team members and clients
  • Willingness to continuously learn and develop skillset
  • Programming knowledge of multiple software platforms is considered an asset
  • Experience in Manufacturing/Production environments and electromechanical systems is an asset

Additional Qualifications

  • Hold and maintain a valid Class G license
  • Hold a valid Canadian passport
  • Have reliable and dependable transportation
